Most of what separates a yard like ours from a big store an hour away happens after the sale — getting the load to your site undamaged, getting the shingles onto the roof, and pricing a package off your plans before you commit to it.

We go the extra mile to make sure your materials are free of damage when they arrive at your building site. And because we are closer to your project than the stores in the larger cities, we do not charge as much to get it there — which saves you money on top of the material.

Roof-top shingle delivery
The bundles go up on the roof, not onto the driveway.
Shingling is hard enough without carrying every bundle up a ladder first. We will put them on the roof for you. In many cases there is no extra charge — it is one more way we work to earn the job.

Free estimates
Bring the plans in and we will price the whole package.
Building a deck, a cabin or a house, bring in your plans and ideas and we will give you a free estimate. In some cases our computer estimating program will show you what the project looks like before you build it.

We go to the seminars so you do not have to read the box.
The real advantage over a bigger store is the person you talk to. We attend seminars and manufacturer meetings to keep up with the products you are asking about, and there is someone here who has done the job you are starting.
